WEIGHBRIDGE OPERATOR x 2

A Scrap Metal company in the Southern Suburbs is in search of two Weighbridge Operators. We are looking for motivated, hard-working & energetic individuals to join the operations team.

Responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:

- Negotiate prices and the quality of metals bought

- Reconcile daily received and dispatched weights

- Able to identify fraudulent transactions and inferior material

- Maintain good customer relations and ensure customer satisfaction

- Maintain and update customer data base

Applicants must have the following qualifying criteria:

- Excellent knowledge of ferrous metal

- Able to communicate fluent in English and Afrikaans

- Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

- Minimum grade 10 or equivalent

- Be able to work quick and accurate under pressure

- Good knowledge of the Second-hand Goods Act

- Willing to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime
