VACANCY:

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SISTER - GAUTENG

Large scrap metal processing and trading company requires a committed, hardworking and motivated individual to join their Healthcare team which is based in Cape Town, This position however is based in Elandsfontein on the East Rand. The candidate will be required to service the various branches in the Gauteng Region e.g. Knights Road, Germiston and Pretoria.

Responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:

- Medical surveillance

- Planning and administration of the Occupational Health Service

- Emergency care, attending to injuries on duty as well as COID management

- Providing Primary Health care including a comprehensive HIV/Aids service

- Co-ordination of the EAP in conjunction with the HR department

Applicants must have the following qualifying criteria:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in occupational and primary health

- Experience in HIV/AIDS management and treatment

- Dispensing certificate - a Dispensing Licence would be an advantage

- Audiometric and Spirometry qualification

- Ability to communicate in English, Afrikaans

- Fluent in Zulu or Sotho

- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Drivers licence and own reliable transport available for work purposes

Type	Permanent after a probation period

Standard hours	07:00 - 16:45 Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 14:00 Friday May be required to work overtime as per operational requirements
