VACANCY:

ENGINEER - GAUTENG

Large National scrap metal processing and trading company requires a committed, hardworking and motivated individual to join their engineering team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the Branches in the Gauteng region and will require travel to the various branches. This is a career orientated position in the Metals Recycling industry.

Responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:

- Project Management

- Design and Layout work

- Produce drawings for manufacturing

- Routine & Planned Maintenance

- Liaise with various service providers

- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns & facilitate repairs

Applicants must have the following qualifying criteria:

- A relevant tertiary qualification

- Proficiency in CAD

- Able to work in challenging conditions

- Previous working experience in a manufacturing environment

- Able to work independently

- Valid unendorsed drivers licence and a reliable motor

Type	Permanent after a probation period

Standard hours	08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 14:00 Friday May be required to work overtime as per operational requirements
Salary	Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
