DEMOLITION SPECIALIST VACANCY

Large National scrap metal processing and trading company requires a committed, hardworking and motivated individual to join their operations team. The successful applicant will be responsible for all outside projects in South Africa and will require extensive travel.

Responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:

- Safe and efficient demolition of steel and construction structures

- Planning, detailed scheduling and coordination of all aspects of the projects

- Management of employees to ensure outputs and targets are achieved

- Scheduled administrative feedback re progress of projects to Management and role players

- Ordering of all consumables and other requirements for projects

Applicants must have the following qualifying criteria:

- Demolition experience in construction, steel structures etc

- Rigging certificate

- Gotha Kit training

- Samtrac training will be an advantage

- Working at heights certificate

- Ability to operate scrap processing machinery

- Previous supervisory experience

- Valid Driver's licence and a reliable vehicle available for work

- In good health

- Trustworthy and reliable

- Ability to work independently yet function within a team

- Ability to handle pressurized work situations and environment

- Willing to work overtime as and when required

Type	Fixed term
Benefits include	15 days leave per annum
Standard hours	07:30 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:00 Friday May be required to work overtime as per operational requirements
Salary	Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
